Sunday Post #2. August 14

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme originally from Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things I have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on my blog.

Life.

On Monday my mother-in-law had her birthday!! Whoohoo… Partaayyy… lol.. We celebrated it a few weeks ago together with the birthday of my father-in-law [it’s May 14th, but celebrated it on July 23rd hahaha].. But she got her gift on Sunday, my boyfriend had to work a late shift on Monday so it was more fun to give it on Sunday..

Sent the laptop away ='[ stupid graphic card which is faulty!! Gonna miss you, writing this on the desktop… It has seen dinosaurs xD Already on keyboard number 3 now hahahaha…. Number one has a defective space bar so it pisses me off every time I want to write, number two is wireless but the bluetooth adapter you put in your USB is broken…. Now my father-in-law provided me with number three… That works, thankfully… Long time since I’ve had a wired keyboard hahahaa.

What a summer btw…. =/ We’ve had one hot week and now it’s mostly raining all the time… Meteorologists say the temperature is right for the summer, but that’s only because we have warm nights…. Welcome to The Netherlands, I think the British can relate….

Amanda Bouchet - A Promise of Fire

Read A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. I loved it, it’s so good. My review will be coming next week on Thursday.

Emma Newman - Any Other Name

Started Any Other Name by Emma Newman. Will not finish it this month, unless I finish my #ReadThemAllThon books before the end of the month, which I doubt.

Sarah J. Maas - The Assassin's BladeToday starts the #ReadThemAllThon and thanks to my Twitter polls I start this read-a-thon with reading A Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I’m really excited to start this one, I want to see the beginning of Sarah’s writing. I loved ACOTAR and ACOMAF =] – CORRECTION I’LL START THE ASSASSIN’S BLADE FIRST. IT’S NOT OFFICIALLY THE FIRST BOOK BUT SARAH HERSELF RECOMMENDS TO READ THIS BEFORE A THRONE OF GLASS, YOU CAN READ THAT HERE.

Pardon my Caps ^^

    1. Yeah the problem here (Hellevoetsluis) is living near water. So the wind is changing by the minute. And it can go from nice and sunny to heavy showers with thunder in mere minutes🤔 a nice and steady, sunny day would be nice indeed!!
      Have fun reading yourself!! Xoxo

    1. Where are you from then? We’ve got days here all we see is rain. If you’re lucky you have a few dry minutes to sprint to your car😂 The Netherlands is a very wet country…

  1. It just started raining here in my part of the USA and apparently its not suppose to stop until Thursday. But, we could use the rain, so I am okay with it. I’m not looking forward to trying to get in and out of work in the rain though!
Enjoy Assassins Blade! I haven’t read that series yet either but its on my TBR!
