Sunday Post #5. September 4

Monday was a hectic day of chores and family. The house is clean, groceries done and my first few hours of work [after a test] are planned on Saturday. Woohoo!! Did have a reading slump the past few days, and today. Wasn’t feeling a 100% happy these days, but that’s fixed again. =]

Sun is shining again yay =] But gotta take my cat to the vet today =[ He’s having coughing attacks or something… Makes me sad, don’t want my Chuckie to have issues. He’s my cuddly cat!! Okay, my cat is more or less fine. The vet thinks he has a kind off bronchitis maybe. He loves to sleep under the bed – the most dusty place in the house of course – and gets a cough fit there. Now I got to give him meds for 10 days and keep him downstairs.. Luckily he loves his meds so bad he bit me in getting the tiny pill hahahahahaa…

But keeping the cats downstairs resulted in me waking up at 3:20AM because Dexter wanted to scratch away the door….. I get that he wants to be with us. But he’s a weird cat, whenever he is upstairs he goes sleeping in a corner of the room xD..

August 30 is always a tough day on me anyway… This year it meant my grandma died 15 years ago… My tradition is to burn a candle in the evening. If I can manage around 6:30PM… The world lost a great and kind woman that day ='[

Wednesday, a day for me to start the last two books of the #ReadThemAllThon and to work on my tan again. My aunts started driving home from my granddad in Portugal… I already dared them to a tan competition, they’ve been in Portugal for about three weeks… But the weather has been amazingly good here and I tan quickly hahahaha… Tonight my second lesson of Taekwondo, wanted to go last Monday but I couldn’t lift my arms…. No burpees or push ups for me [got a bad wrist, but tried anyway, for the first time in like four years… and like over 40 reps whoops] Still have sore shoulders but since yesterday I could life them properly again hahahahaa…. So tonight we’re a it again!!

Okay, less sore muscles =] yay!! Bruised the same knuckle again hahahaha I’m a bit clumsy I know!! So today a lot of sunshine, but no tanning in my back yard. Printed the stuff I got to study for my first day of work Saturday [it’s not big, so don’t think you’re so late!!] Bought myself awesome new shades with shiny pink glasses, like a sort of Ray Ban but cheap… I love cheap things, not in the way they’re trash, but in the way I can spend money on more things than one expensive thingy!! =] Today’s dinner was amazing again, my mother-in-law made her famous roti yumyum!! Closed of my day with a 2 hour bath – reading of course – and then 2 hours reading on the couch with Chucky in my lap while enjoying Milka Oreo #divinechocolate

Friday was a bleak day, if you looked outside. Bit of rain, mostly clouds, and a lot of rain in the evening, felt like my buddy below in the gif =[ … But my home smells of fresh-made soup yumyum [soup addict hehe] It’s a day for chores, finishing Me Before You, writing the review, writing the Goodreads Tag, starting It Ends With Us, eating delicious fresh-made soup and relaxing. [And studying my info for my first work day tomorrow, of course, duh!]

Saturday was a big day for me, passed the test and got to work my first few hours!! With that said, that meant getting out the special things to keep your mouth open and I was on drool duty. No I’m not working at a retirement home hahahaha… I’m working in the tooth whitening business =] But I was so excited to start I only slept for like 2 hours it feels… I got this same thing when going to Curacao for the first time hahaha… So I took a nap on the couch later on, tiny nap as my boyfriend kept waking me so I could read my last book for the #ReadThemAllthon!! So I started the book, I like it so far!!

Sunday, the closing day for this week and the #ReadThemAllThon… I’m reading It Ends With Us, want to finish and review it today!! I like to win, and will do a lot to make sure I can compete with the best!! Today is a lazy day over all, me reading, my bf playing Battlefield 1 Open Beta [we love it so far], he watching F1 in Monsa, Italy today!! And this evening we had a lovely dinner we call ‘gourmetten’. There’s no English word for it I see hahaha… It’s like we have a grill plate and we put tiny pieces of meat on the plate, and maybe like eggs or mini pancakes and veggies… So you have an evening with the family grilling your own food in tiny pieces ^^ I’ll post a pic so you guys can see what I mean..
