Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. I’ll try to participate every week in their list making frenzy =]
So I had to think hard on this one. Has been a while since I’ve been in school. hahaha. I decided to go with the books I’ve read in school:
- Alice Walker – The Color Purple Goodreads.
- Tatiana de Rosnay – Haar Naam Was Sarah [Sarah’s Key] Goodreads.
- Joann Sfar – Le Petit Prince [The Little Prince] Goodreads.
- Johanna Edwards – De Schone Dumpster [Your Big Break] Goodreads.
- Kluun – Er Komt een Vrouw Bij de Dokter [Love Life] Goodreads.
- Amélie Nothomb – Gods Ingewanden [The Character of Rain] Goodreads.
- Dan Brown – Het Bernini Mysterie [Angels & Demons] Goodreads.
- Leon de Winter – De Hemel van Hollywood Goodreads.
- Maria Mosterd – Echte Mannen Eten Geen Kaas Goodreads.
- Shakespeare – King Lear Goodreads.
Ok, so maybe you’ve noticed not all are in English. Where I put the English name in between brackets, I’ve read in Dutch or French. But where there is a Dutch name without an English name, it’s because it’s Dutch written and not translated at all or not into English. These are ten books, randomly – with help of old emails from myself with the reports, couldn’t remember a lot of them hahahaha – chosen of books I’ve read in school and written a report on.
Have you read any of these?
In case you’ve missed these:
I really need to pick up The Color Purple. I’ve been saying that I was going to read it for a long time now, and the still hasn’t happened! I loved the movie, so I am pretty positive that I will also love the book! Great Top Ten! 😀 My Top Ten Tuesday!
