““Did you see any rice in there? Maybe we could fill Cinder’s head with it.”

Everyone stared at him.

“You know, to…absorb the moisture, or something. Isn’t that a thing?”

“We’re not putting rice in my head.” “

What did I think about the book?

This is how you end a series, Naomi Novik, Charlaine Harris… Yeah, I love your series, but those endings sucked.. That’s my opinion and yes, I am disappointed in how those ended.

Now I’m in love with Marissa Meyer for this ending. My opinion is OHMYGODILOVETHISENDING!!!!! Clear?

I read this series in one go and I must say again I’m damn satisfied with how this series comes to an end. It’s not too perfect an ending, but felt like the circle was complete.

In this final novel we get to meet Winter for real, we’ve seen glimpses of her before, but this book is mainly about Winter. I still love how Meyer is capable of merging all the storylines together into one big storyline. They all come together so good. I think this is Marissa’s superpower, merging a lot of stories from main characters into one story where they all come together and have the same goal in the end.

Winter is a really cute princess, she feels like she’s going nuts, I can’t blame her when Levana raises you…. I pitied Winter a lot, she had to go through so much when growing up and even now her life ain’t easy. One of her biggest strengths is that she isn’t vain like Levana. Winter is scarred too, just like Levana, but Levana did it to her. Levana hides behind glamour and veils to be the most beautiful queen there is. Winter is herself, doesn’t care about the scars in her face and walks around proud. That’s why people love her so much, she’s kind and strong, cares about people and doesn’t hide what some think makes her ugly. The people of Luna think she’s beautiful, with scars and all.

Let’s not forget the crazy. It’s called Lunar sickness, which people get by not using their glamour. That’s how strong Winter is. She lets herself get crazy, because she believes glamour hurts people.

So Winter’s the crazy one, Cress the sweet and naive one, Scarlet the tough and fierce one and Cinder the brave and level-headed one. That’s one hell of a funny team. I love this mix, they all have their own qualities. And that’s good because they can all play their own part and use their own skills in achieving their common goal.

In this book the amount of action is increased even more. It leads to a bloody, crazy, dramatic and thrilling climax. We see even more close calls, crazy scenes and funny dialogues.

If you think about it, this series is really like a fairy tale made modern. The good guys win and the villains lose. They all live happily ever after. If you’re not Levana that is… *sinister, evil, scientist laughter*
