Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. I’ll try to participate every week in their list making frenzy =]
Okay, this week I’ll keep to ten titles. My TBR is way to big – want to know what’s on it? check my Goodreads. – and I’ll randomly choose ten titles. I do consider that these titles have more priority to read than others maybe. I don’t know, okay let’s just see my list hahaha
- Cassandra Clare – City of Bones [Got TMI in hardback, but still have to find Clockwork Angel and Princess in the right hardback edition to complete the set before I’ll start]
- J.R.R. Tolkien – The Hobbit [got a special 70th anniversary edition which I’ll never read, got a worn second hand copy which I will read]
- George R.R. Martin – A Game of Thrones [tried to start before the series aired, but got lost in the different POVs]
- Dan Brown – Inferno [got it on day 1, but wanted to read them in order again, and got lost in school stuff and such… I did finish The Lost symbol this year again, so I’ll start it – I hope – before the movie airs]
- P.C. Cast – Goddess of the Sea [I’ve got Goddess of Love through Facebook, but I still have to find the rest of them
- Rick Riordan – The Heroes of Olympus series [found the last two installments trough Facebook, but I want the big editions from Puffin and those are hard to find. I did find them, second hand on Amazon, but now I’ve gotta wait for money =/ ]
- Laurell K. Hamilton – Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter [I hear a lot about this series, but haven’t started them ever]
- Terry Brooks – Shannara books [There are at least 33 books in that series… I haven’t started this one because I like to read series in one go, but it would take me like 4 months hahaha]
- Victor Hugo – Les Miserables [Got those in nice editions, but haven’t had the motivation to read this one, it’s so big!!]
- Charlotte Brönte – Jane Eyre [have read this one when I was like 10 years old. Loved it, want to read it again, but haven’t found the time and motivation to read this heavy lit masterpiece]
Like I said I’ve got plenty on my TBR, but these came to mind ;]
How about your picks? Are any of mine on your TBR?
In case you’ve missed these:
- #49 The Too-Clever Fox.
- #ReadThemAllThon Update Week 1.
- Sunday Post #3. August 21
- #48 The Assassin’s Blade.
- #47 The Tailor.
I need to read the Anita Blake books, too. Happy reading!
