TTT#5 Top Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet.

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. I’ll try to participate every week in their list making frenzy =]

Okay, this week I’ll keep to ten titles. My TBR is way to big – want to know what’s on it? check my Goodreads. – and I’ll randomly choose ten titles. I do consider that these titles have more priority to read than others maybe. I don’t know, okay let’s just see my list hahaha

  1. Cassandra Clare – City of Bones [Got TMI in hardback, but still have to find Clockwork Angel and Princess in the right hardback edition to complete the set before I’ll start]
  2. J.R.R. Tolkien – The Hobbit [got a special 70th anniversary edition which I’ll never read, got a worn second hand copy which I will read]
  3. George R.R. Martin – A Game of Thrones [tried to start before the series aired, but got lost in the different POVs]
  4. Dan Brown – Inferno [got it on day 1, but wanted to read them in order again, and got lost in school stuff and such… I did finish The Lost symbol this year again, so I’ll start it – I hope – before the movie airs]
  5. P.C. Cast – Goddess of the Sea [I’ve got Goddess of Love through Facebook, but I still have to find the rest of them
  6. Rick Riordan – The Heroes of Olympus series [found the last two installments trough Facebook, but I want the big editions from Puffin and those are hard to find. I did find them, second hand on Amazon, but now I’ve gotta wait for money  =/ ]
  7. Laurell K. Hamilton – Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter [I hear a lot about this series, but haven’t started them ever]
  8. Terry Brooks – Shannara books [There are at least 33 books in that series… I haven’t started this one because I like to read series in one go, but it would take me like 4 months hahaha]
  9. Victor Hugo – Les Miserables [Got those in nice editions, but haven’t had the motivation to read this one, it’s so big!!]
  10. Charlotte Brönte – Jane Eyre [have read this one when I was like 10 years old. Loved it, want to read it again, but haven’t found the time and motivation to read this heavy lit masterpiece]

Like I said I’ve got plenty on my TBR, but these came to mind ;]

How about your picks? Are any of mine on your TBR?

In case you’ve missed these:

  1. Inferno is so good; I love Dan Brown! I really like how much info I’ve learned from reading his books! I watch Game of Thrones, but I also look forward to reading the books! Happy reading! 😀
